About the IFBBPA Arizona

What is the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness Physique America (IFBBPA) & what impact will it have on Arizonan bodybuilders, physique, figure, and bikini competitors?

In 2018 it was announced the IFBB Amateur would split from the National Physique Committee. In its place, the IFBB Physique America would take the role of the NPC as amateur branch for the IFBB in the United States, as well as the creation of a new professional league, a.k.a. the IFBB Elite Pro.  A little over a year later and the IFBBPA  has become a premier physical culture organization, having contests across the United States (as well as Canada,) &  producing many athletes that have gone on to compete in the IFBB Elite Pro.

With over 7 million residents, Arizona has a long history of bodybuilding competitions and physique pageants, so it’s only appropriate that we get our own region and representation. Though the IFBBPA is a new bodybuilding / physique competition organization, it now joins the storied history of the IFBB Amateur across the globe and is providing athletes in Arizona with more opportunities to compete, representing themselves, the state of Arizona, and potentially even the USA at international competitions.
